**Sorry about the website not really being updated at all, but myself and Olvia are still in the process of getting a new one sorted, and are planning on sending through email updates in the meantime, so if anyone wants to get these, please sent me a note...**
Also: Results Wise:
Jo and Olivia finish in 3rd place overall at the 2009 470 European Women's Championships, a great result for their second international regatta in the class, and hopefully a show of things to come!

Jo finally comes a place other than second at the NZ Laser Nationals!
(for the last 4 years, Jo has come 2nd overall, and only 1st woman once)
So this year in New Plymouth at the 2009 Nationals, Jo finished top woman, and 7th place overall (weirdly similar to her Olympics result, and her sail number which has an excess of 7's in it - 177775)
So she is now content with the Radial for the time being, and looking to give the 470 a go with crew Olivia Powrie (Jo and Olivia won the 2007 420 World Championship title).
So Jo and Olivia will be competing in Sail Auckland, and the rest of the year in the 470 class...

Jo finished 7th overall at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, after a very up and down regatta...
She
is now having a bit of a break from the Radial, and getting ready to go
back to Uni next year to carry on her Engineering degree.
Having
not quite placed where she wanted to, she is now even more determined
to make it to London in 2012, and give it an even better shot.
If you want to read about Jo's Olympic experience, she had a blog on the NZOC site for the duration of the Games, the link to this is here

Jo has finished the Holland Regatta, had two race wins, and a few good races sailed (not always meaning a good result though..) then a few bad races as well, so not quite the result she was looking for, but a learning experience all the same..
She is now off to Qingdao, China for some training near the Olympic venue.. but no updates while she is there, as for some reason this website is blocked in China...
