Calendar
As there is only one more regatta left this year (a little competition called the Olympic Games..) I thought I would put up a schedule for it... and it alone...
Ok here it is:
August
1st - Leave Auckland, bound for Hong Kong, then a short flight over to Qingdao.. where I finally arrive on the 2nd
will just be getting everything ready.. going for a few sails, making sure I can still remember how to do it...
8th - Flying up to Beijing for the Opening Ceremony, which starts at 8 min, 8 seconds, past 8 (pm) on the 8th of the 8th, 08..
I will stay up in Beijing for the next day, and go watch an event.. not sure which one yet.. but anything should be awesome!!
after that I will fly back to Qingdao, on the 9th.
12th - Is my first day of racing..
I will then be racing all the way through till the 19th, (If the weather plays ball... if not we could keep racing until the our final reserve day on the 22nd.
After I have finished racing, I will head up to Beijing, to take in some more of the sights, and hopefully see some more events, and take part in the closing ceremony on the 24th.
I am then home bound on a special flight from Beijing, that leaves on the 26th, which will have most of the NZ Olympic Team on it..
