Anyone that knows me, is quite aware of that fact that I am pretty food centric, I have tried every style of eating, from vegan, to LCHF, I have been to enough countries to know what good food is (and I’m partly Israeli – and the really are all about the food). I love to bake, and went through a muffin frenzy phase during the London Olympics – stress release through baking – my house mates loved it! But these days it seems its more trying to be creative and still eat well, even with the travel, I like the make the most of having a kitchen when ever I can!
I haven’t really been in the same place for more than a few weeks for the last 7 years, but I always enjoy a new supermarket, and making the most of local food, or even, just taking something simple and unexciting, but making it a little more healthy or balanced!
To keep things interesting I also developed an intolerance to food in general in late 2014 after one of our many trips to Rio, this meant I had to get pretty creative, but never managed to completely find the causes, all I know is that I tend to not add onion to anything anymore, and apples are not ideal. There are a bunch of other foods that don’t sit too well, but I like food too much to get fussy!!
On the food side, you may notice my meals have a definite LCHF (low carb, high fat) skew, and I know its not for everyone, but for me, it just seems to suit my body, I have never had more energy and felt better than eating this way… But thats just me!
